Tonight, Wednesday 3/13/2013, bring your gear and be ready for Fitness Fun with Sabrina Wright. . .

A personal note to you from Sabrina. . .

Grace, peace and much success to you as you continue on your Fitness and Wellness journey. My name is Sabrina Wright, better known as “Sam”. I feel extremely privileged to be one of the fitness professionals serving you on the road to a lifestyle that promotes improved health.
I was born in Omaha, Nebraska. My family moved to Pittsburgh when I was 10, so I consider myself a native of “The Burgh”. I graduated from Schenley High School and went on to receive a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Sociology from Chatham University, and a Masters of Education Degree in Special Education from the University of Pittsburgh.
I believe my personal fitness journey started at a very young age as I trained in Ballet, Modern, Jazz and African Dance techniques at various venues throughout the city. As a performing member of the Junior and Senior divisions of the Pittsburgh Black Theater Dance Ensemble I learned through the years that there is nothing better I can think of to do with my body except to… keep it moving!
I began teaching gospel aerobics classes right here at the Mt. Ararat Community Center with the Centers for Healthy Hearts and Souls organization. I am an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. I am also certified for both Zumba and Aqua Zumba fitness instruction. In addition, I’m a Maddogg Athletics certified Spinning instructor. My teaching experience involves instructing in various formats throughout the city and surrounding area at LA Fitness, and Urban Active Fitness where I also served as the Group Exercise Director at the Bakery Square location. I LOVE teaching exercise classes of all types. I am extremely dedicated and focused on helping others to achieve their personal fitness goals and objectives. I encourage you all, even after the Biggest Loser Program at Mt. Ararat concludes to keep moving, have fun, stay fit and honor God in your bodies.
“Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which you have from God and you are not your own? For you were bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body and your spirit, which are God’s”.
I Corinthians 6:19-20

See you there. . .

Here’s another great soup recipe,
I generally try these recipes and have found they are really good, The soup featured below is from Epicurious and is a Veggie soup! Enjoy. . .
